Why is person’s address required to be mentioned? Depending on what their opinion or complaint is could pose a safety concern. Are the city council members reciting their home addresses? I highly doubt it. Can someone from the city council clarify if this is a mandatory requirement? If so, where is it stated and will council members adhere to the same standard?

The hilarity in all of this is just too much….you really want people to come and live but between the streets, lack of entertainment, and lifestyle it makes you wonder if there is any real direction going on.

This area is falling apart at the seams. Seems to have always been a heavily taxed area insofar as property tax, but nothing to show for it. Nueces County is stuck in 1995, and it shows!

So the new DMV at the old bus station downtown.....heavy "armed guard" presence. Metal detectors, wands (that aren't even working properly so I was told)......is this because of a senator's presence? This is what I am told anyway....so if all of this security (armed) is good enough for 1 senator even when he is gone to Austin to vote (also what I was told) then armed security requested for the libraries should be good enough for all of the citizens that go there to peacefully read. That is all, have a GREAT day.....

A room full of people debating the minutiae of burdensome rules and yet people are in the meeting breaking city policy and consuming tobacco products? Perhaps a high paid meeting group should start at how to enforce basic policies and stop worrying about ridiculous contract language.
